Trees

While we all know what a tree is, from a botanist perspective, a tree is a perennial plat that features an elongated stem or trunk. This trunk has supporting branches and leaves in a majority of tree species. On average, trees tend to live a long life for a plant. Many trees are over 1,000 years old. The tallest tree in the world stands at around 380 feet. Trees can be quite the sight to see, but they are also play a role in the climate. Not only can trees reduce erosion, but many also help to moderate the climate by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
