Joe Simpson is the visionary founder and CEO of Simpson Landscape, established in 1985 with the mission of providing local businesses with top-quality landscaping solutions. Under Joe’s leadership, Simpson Landscape has expanded its services to include designing, constructing, and managing landscapes for commercial properties, becoming a leader in the industry throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Joe moved to Plano, Texas, at a young age. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through early on when, at just 13, he started a mowing business to save money for his first hunting rifle. Joe graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1979 and went on to earn a degree in business marketing from Southwest Texas State University. To fund his education, Joe worked summers and breaks in the landscape industry, laying the foundation for his future business.
After college, Joe briefly worked as a marketing representative for a local computer software company but quickly realized his passion lay outdoors, not behind a desk. Armed with his marketing knowledge and landscape industry experience, Joe took a leap of faith and founded Simpson Landscape, a faith-based company built on principles of trust, honesty, and respect.
Joe’s dedication and hard work paid off as the company grew rapidly, becoming a trusted name in commercial landscaping. His commitment to excellence and his servant’s heart have been key to the company’s success.
Joe has been happily married to his wife Sandra for over 30 years. They have two wonderful children: Ally, 27, and Joe Jr., 18. When he’s not working, Joe loves to enjoy outdoor activities such as boating, trail running, and bow hunting. He cherishes spending time with his family and friends, finding joy in their company and the great outdoors.
Bryce Ryan

At Simpson Landscape, our customers always come first, and we are incredibly fortunate to have Bryce Ryan leading the way as our Vice President. Bryce ensures that the needs of our customers are met daily, playing a vital role in our company’s growth and success.
Bryce brings a quiet confidence and charismatic personality to his role. His fantastic attitude, work ethic, and humble nature make him a pleasure to work with. He values teamwork and understands the importance of being a great listener, especially in customer relations. Since joining our team, Bryce has earned his TNLA certification and Commercial Pesticide Applicator’s License, always striving to learn and improve.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Bryce moved to Plano, TX, with his family, where he was raised alongside his two sisters. He graduated from Plano Senior High in 2006 and pursued a business management degree at Texas Lutheran University before transferring to Ole Miss, where he balanced playing college football with his studies. Bryce’s active lifestyle, love for the outdoors, and passion for team sports make him a perfect fit for the green industry and Simpson Landscape.
Outside of work, Bryce enjoys spending time with family and friends. His true passion is building a life with his beautiful wife and their two sons.

With a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, handling all the responsibilities typical of an office manager with precision and care.
Julie is happily married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two wonderful children and three beautiful grandbabies. Her family is her pride and joy, and she loves spending time with them, creating cherished memories.

As the Director of Landscape Enhancements and our Design Specialist, Leo orchestrates all aspects of our field operations with remarkable expertise. Whether he’s leading our morning roll-outs, bidding on a job, or crafting an exquisite landscape design, Leo’s calm demeanor and can-do attitude inspire everyone he encounters.
With an impressive 28-year tenure at Simpson Landscape, Leo has proven to be a dedicated and loyal leader. His colleagues describe him as solid, hard-working, positive, and dependable. Leo’s leadership is the bedrock upon which many successful projects have been built.
Leo is not just a leader at work; he’s a devoted family man. He and his lovely wife Esmeralda have three wonderful children: Juan Pablo, 17; Valeria, 14; and Julieta, 13. The family cherishes their time together, whether it’s playing soccer video games, enjoying summer trips to the beach, or watching movies. Leo beautifully sums up his family life, saying, “Nothing brings my wife and me more joy than seeing a smile on our children’s faces when we’re spending time together.”
Willy Deleon
Operations Manager/Shop Supervisor
Simpson Landscape runs smoothly and efficiently thanks to exceptional team leaders like Willy Deleon. As the Operations Manager and Shop Supervisor, Willy oversees all aspects of shop operations, ensuring our equipment is meticulously maintained and ready for action daily.
Since joining our team in 2003, Willy has consistently gone above and beyond, demonstrating unwavering dedication and hard work. His faith is at the core of his work ethic, and he exemplifies how Christians should conduct themselves in the workplace. A scripture displayed in our shop reads, “Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men,” a principle Willy clearly lives by.
Born and raised in Guatemala, Willy graduated in 1993 from the Institute of Industrial Technology with a degree as a Gasoline and Diesel Technician. His technical expertise and leadership skills have been instrumental in the success of Simpson Landscape.
In his free time, Willy enjoys playing the guitar and piano and spending quality time with his family. He and his wonderful wife Nora have been blessed with three children, Issac, Daniel, and Rebecca. The family is actively involved in their church community, sharing a deep passion for God and spreading His love to others.

Ismael Martinez has been a key member of Simpson Landscape since 2015, excelling as a Licensed Irrigator. Originally from Guanajuato, Mexico, and moving to the USA 20 years ago, Ismael completed his education at Plano East Senior High School (PESH).
Ismael’s landscaping journey began elsewhere, where he initially worked during summer vacations, learning to master mowing. His dedication and commitment led him to join Simpson Landscape, where his passion for the outdoors led to a flourishing career as a licensed irrigator. Known for embodying integrity in every task, delivering quality that surpasses expectations, and demonstrating leadership that motivates his team, Ismael is a pillar of professionalism.
Married to Norma, Ismael is a devoted father to two children: Aldo (11) and Itzel (16). His passion extends beyond work as he cherishes quality time with his family. On weekends, he enjoys taking Aldo to soccer games, with the entire family cheering from the sidelines. Since 2003, Anastacio Sanchez has been a vital member of the Simpson Landscape team, bringing his expert skills as a Licensed Irrigator to every project. Born and raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, he immigrated to the United States in 2001, and has since established deep roots here.
Anastacio is renowned for his unwavering commitment to excellence and his attention to detail, which he applies both in his professional endeavors and his personal life. He leads by example, demonstrating the importance of integrity and quality in every task he undertakes.
Married to his wife Fatima, Anastacio is a dedicated family man. Anastacio and Fatima have five children: Victoria (12), David (9), Jasmine (5), and twins Fatima and Itzel (8 months). He is a devout Catholic, with a life grounded in faith and community values.

As a kid, if Brock wasn’t eating or sleeping, you’d find him outdoors. Whether it was a pickup game of football, basketball, or baseball, fishing, or building forts with scrap wood from local construction sites, Brock was always on the move. Today, not much has changed except for the addition of his furry four-legged friend, Rogue, who joins him on his adventures.
Brock attended Plano Senior High School before he transferred to the Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD), graduating in 2007. His athletic talents earned him a scholarship to play football at the University of California, Berkeley (Cal), where he majored in Business Management and Globalism, focusing on team management and marketing. After his time at Cal, Brock spent a thrilling year playing baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers!
Brock’s mantra is simple: “If it’s worth playing or doing, it’s worth winning and doing right!” His passion for winning is matched only by his love for teamwork. He thrives on serving his people and celebrates victories with his team, making every success a shared triumph.
